Job summary

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Project Coordinator to collaborate with the Senior Director, Operations and project teams across Canada. You will help standardize planning, execution, and reporting, developing consistent processes and controls for Canadian operations.

The role is full-time and in-office in Calgary, with no hybrid option. Travel to remote sites may be required to support project activities and site investigations. A data-driven, proactive approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with min EIT designation or MBA with relevant technical experience.
• PMP designation or progress toward PMP is an asset.
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, facilities management or project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Director, Operations in developing and implementing consistent project execution processes across Canadian operations.
• Help standardize project activities including startup, planning, scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, reporting and closeout.
• Work with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure processes are implemented and followed.
• Develop and maintain GANTT charts, templates, trackers, dashboards and SOPs.
• Track and analyze project KPIs, schedules, financial performance, risks and milestones.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical improvements across teams.
• Coordinate national initiatives and ensure actions are completed.
• Assist with implementation and improvement of project management, reporting and systems.
