Job summary

High Tech Genesis Inc. in Ottawa is seeking an organized Operations Support Specialist to bolster Agile and DevSecOps delivery. You will support software teams, coordinate with stakeholders and clients, and help maintain smooth project workflows from planning through delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in Agile environments, customer-facing roles, and experience supporting software development teams. This role is office-based in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Agile software development and DevSecOps environments.
• Experience working as part of a software development team, supporting technical and operational activities.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, delivering support and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to Agile and DevSecOps teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to ensure workflow and issue resolution.
• Support sprint activities, documentation, tracking and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements, team coordination, and operational planning.
• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, updates, and support needs.
• Maintain clear communication across teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operation Support Specialist to join our team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, hands‑on experience supporting software development teams, and the ability to work effectively in a customer‑facing environment. This role supports Agile and DevSecOps delivery teams and contributes to smooth operational workflows across the project lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support to Agile and DevSecOps teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution.
• Support sprint activities, documentation, tracking, and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements, team coordination, and operational planning.
• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, updates, and support needs.
• Maintain clear communication across teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in all the following areas:

• Agile software development and DevSecOps environments.
• Working as part of a software development team, supporting technical and operational activities.
• Customer‑facing roles, providing support, communication, or service delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with project coordination or operations support in government or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of IT service management or support processes.
