Job Overview

  • Perform maintenance support for the Atikokan mechanical maintenance crew.
  • Perform project support for mechanical projects at the Atikokan station. Includes project initiation reports, technical specifications and technical assistance as needed.
  • Perform asset management activities for the Atikokan station including life extension for equipment.
  • Provide support for the Operations group at the Atikokan station. This includes writing procedures and advising on the operation of various equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum four years’ experience in the manufacturing or power plant operations. Prefer licensed as a Professional Engineer in province of Ontario.
  • Prefer experience in thermal power plants.
