Job summary

Fox Rent A Car seeks a Fleet Coordinator to oversee daily vehicle inventory, update statuses for idle/out-of-service units, monitor overdue rentals, and issue POs to vendors. You will assist with vehicle movement, recalls handling, and coordination with external facilities to keep the fleet flowing smoothly.

A minimum of 2 years in an office setting is required; 2+ years in car rental is preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean background are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles.

• Assist with movement and transfers of vehicles.
• Vent non-rentable vehicles for repair in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to email requests and coordinate recalls.
• Coordinate transfers for repair/maintenance with vendors.
• Maintain an accurate fleet status including repairs and movements.

## **Job Description*****Every vehicle accounted for. Every move coordinated. Every day.*** At Fox Rent A Car, our Fleet Coordinators are the organizational hub behind a fleet that runs without gaps. You'll track vehicles, coordinate repairs, and keep the communication flowing between teams and vendors to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.**Your Primary Focus Is To*** Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles* Update the status of all idle and out-of-service vehicles daily* Monitor overdue rentals and take action as needed* Issue POs to vendors* Help with the movement of vehicles when needed* See that non-rentable vehicles are vented for repair in a timely manner* Respond promptly to all email requests* Assist with fleeting and de-fleeting vehicles* Coordinate the transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to the respective vendor or facility* Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle, including arrival at the location and return at end of cycle* Assist with pulling cars with safety recalls out of service* Maintain an accurate status of the rental fleet — repair orders, vehicle transfers, and movements* Research any inconsistencies* Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives**Education & Experience*** A minimum of 2 years of office experience* 2+ years of previous experience within the car rental industry preferred* Valid driver's license and clean background**We're Looking For*** Excellent management and decision-making skills* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays**We Offer*** Company-paid Life Insurance* Company-paid AD&D Insurance* Flexible spending account* Parental leave* Employee assistance program*We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
