Job summary

Grainger Canada is hiring warehouse associates for full-time, onsite roles in Edmonton. You will report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and perform unloading, sorting, labeling, put away, picking, and packing with scanning devices to fulfill orders.

Work in a fast-paced environment must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and comply with safety standards. Competitive compensation is offered with potential incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of work experience in a fast-paced and physically active job.
• Ability to speak and understand written and spoken English.
• Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including unloading, sorting, labeling, put away, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products.
• Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.
• Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
