Job summary

The Fastener Group Ltd. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for our Edmonton West location.

The role involves organizing and moving products to meet safety and productivity standards, with responsibilities including picking orders, unloading inbound shipments, and processing inbound goods. You will use our compute system to check inventory, coordinate with teammates, and perform put-away duties on all rack levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
• Forklift experience is beneficial; training may be provided.
• Willing to learn about products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick customers and interbranch orders and verify accuracy before shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and stage goods in receiving lanes per procedures.
• Process inbound shipments including sorting, quality checks, and counts.
• Prepare orders for shipment.
• Carry and lift items up to 50 lbs daily.
• Use the warehouse computer system to check inventory and orders.
• Coordinate with team members and communicate daily.
• Perform put-away on racking with appropriate equipment.
• Organize shelves, clean the warehouse, and assist as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associateto join our Team at our Edmonton West location. The warehouse associate will assist in organizing and moving products in the warehouse to meet company safety and productivity standards. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
• Process inbound shipments, including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Lifting and carrying 2lbs-50lbs on a daily basis.
• Using the compute system to check inventory, look up orders, and identify products
• Interact, communicate and coordinate with all team members daily
• Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment where required.
• Other duties, such as organizing shelves, cleaning the warehouse, and other tasks as assigned by the manager
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe workspace, including the use of required PPE.

• Highly motivated, with the desire to be successful and learn about the product.
• Forklift experience is beneficial in this role.
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 LBS.
• Related warehouse work experience is an asset, but we are willing to train.
