Job summary

The Fastener Group in Red Deer is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will help organize and move products in the warehouse to meet safety and productivity standards, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Key duties include picking orders, unloading inbound shipments, processing inbound shipments, and putting away items with powered equipment where required. We value a strong work ethic, detail orientation, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic delivering service in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
• Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to details and multitask.
• Highly motivated with the desire to learn about the product.
• Forklift experience is beneficial in this role.
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 LBS.
• Related warehouse work experience is an asset, but we are willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
• Process inbound shipments, including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
• Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment where required.
• Other duties, such as organizing shelves, cleaning the warehouse, and other tasks as assigned by the manager.
