Job summary

BC Liquor Distribution Branch is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to lead test planning, automation development, and defect management for its IT systems. The role involves performing manual and automated testing, developing an automation framework, and coordinating with business lines to ensure quality across releases.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT testing experience, strong programming and scripting skills (Java/C#/Python), experience with Selenium, CI/CD tools, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in information technology, computer science or a related field, with a minimum of eight (8) years of recent, related experience.
• OR a combination of education, training and experience with ten (10) years of recent, related experience.
• Recent experience must include: OO programming (Java, C#, or Python), test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Rest API, Appium, Sikuli), CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps), and leading QA projects for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present QA test strategies and plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites.
• Lead defect triage meetings and track QA metrics.
• Coach junior QAs on QA best practices and processes.
