WoodGreen Community Services is hiring a Program Assistant for the Workforce Development team in Toronto. This contract hourly position supports daily operations, front desk coverage, data entry, event support, and client services, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and assisting with program activities.

Work hours are 21 per week, Mon-Thu, 9am-5pm, onsite at 815 Danforth Ave. The role requires Grade 12 and/or 2+ years in office admin; strong MS Office, typing speed, and customer

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Education and/or 2+ years’ work experience in office administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Office Applications, 50+ net wpm typing.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Intermediate Excel report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Support Workforce Development team operations and client services.
  • Manage data related to communication, research activities, participants, contacts and events.
  • Enter invoices and manage invoice records.
  • Greet and assist inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Register and refer clients for services.
  • Maintain information in management systems and ensure privacy.
  • Prepare reports and assist with meetings and events.
