Workforce Development offers various programs to support community members in improving their soft and technical skills and helps individuals secure long-term employment in specific sectors. The Workforce Development team supports those unemployed or under-employed with specific skills training and employment support for attachment with employers in various sectors.
This position works within Workforce Development team in Community Programs Unit to contribute to the learning opportunities provided to a variety of clients to improve their digital literacy, soft skills, occupational-specific hard skills, employability skills and financial literacy to improve their employment and financial outcomes.
This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Development to provide the design, development, coordination, implementation, and support of training activities within the Community Programs Unit at WoodGreen.
