Job summary

EPCOR is hiring a Manager, Physical Security Infrastructure in Edmonton, AB. This full-time role is based onsite with regular attendance at the work location.

You will lead planning, operation, and performance of access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and strong vendor management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Physical Security System Operations.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams.
• Knowledge of physical security hardware and systems such as C-Cure, Genetec, and Key Management Systems (asset).

Responsibilities

• Managing operation, maintenance, and lifecycle of physical security systems.
• Developing annual plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Leading implementation, upgrades, and replacements of security systems.
• Ensuring standards, governance, and security controls are followed.
• Monitoring performance, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Managing vendor relationships, invoicing, and service performance.
• Partnering with IT, Cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
• Building and developing a high-performing security team.
• Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and providing technical leadership.
• Providing 24x7 on-call support for Physical Security Infrastructure.
