Masco Canada is hiring a Junior Product Engineering Designer to join the Product Engineering team at the St. Thomas, ON office.

The role focuses on creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings, supporting product development, and ensuring designs meet quality and manufacturability standards. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree and 1–2 years of design experience, with strong CAD skills, GD&T knowledge, and a mindset for continuous improvement in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience in product design or engineering drafting.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to create manufacturable designs.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability, materials, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D models and engineering drawings for new and existing products.
• Define drawing information including tolerances, GD&T, dimensional stack‑up, and surface finishes.
• Support product development and design improvements; contribute to launches and cost-reduction efforts.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.
• Create design verification and FMEA reports and participate in design reviews.
