Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–2 years of product design or engineering drafting experience.
• Strong CAD skills to create manufacturable designs.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability, materials, and processes.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in technical docs.
• Effective problem-solving for design issues.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Good time management and organization.
• Continuous improvement mindset for design tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D models and engineering drawings for new and existing products.
• Define tolerance, fits, GD&T, dimensional stack-up, and surface finishes.
• Support product development, new launches, and design improvements.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.
• Create design verification and FMEA reports.
• Participate in value engineering and cost-reduction efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to align with goals.
• Maintain and update design documentation per internal standards.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Contribute to tool, standard, and process improvements.
