Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom, seeks an IMAC Technician to join the Brandon, MB team onsite. You will perform on-site installation, moves, adds and changes of IT hardware, ensuring proper configuration and tracking for customer readiness.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in desktop support or IMAC, with strong organizational and customer service skills. The role is full-time with compensation in a CAD hourly range, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide IT staffing provider.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in desktop support, field services, IMAC, deployment or IT hardware support.
• Hands-on experience installing and moving IT equipment and workstations.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a field services team.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, relocation, replacement, and removal of desktops, laptops, monitors and peripherals.
• Set up workstations including basic cabling, labeling, and equipment placement.
• Follow work orders and complete IMAC tasks within timelines and service levels.
• Verify equipment and asset information and track assets.
• Update tickets and asset records upon task completion.
• Coordinate with IMAC Coordinator on schedules and priorities.
