Job summary

Sword Security is seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our Toronto team. This onsite role supports accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing and financial administration across our fast-paced event staffing operations.

The successful candidate will manage vendor invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance. A university degree in accounting/finance and about 3 years of experience are preferred, with CPA in progress.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA designation in progress.
• Approximately 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and track customer payments.
• Maintain financial databases and process expense claims.
• Lead bi-weekly payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Accounts Administrator.
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting accuracy.
