Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs at the customer site.

The role covers repairs in the field and service shop, with 7x7 rotational days and nights. You will perform maintenance using diagnostic tools, maintain records, and pursue ongoing certifications on Cummins products, while using your own tools and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Basic field service work experience
• Intermediate knowledge of engine products
• Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools
