Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, is seeking a Bilingual Datacenter Technician to join the team onsite in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and be fluent in English and French.

Duties include equipment installation and removal, third-party quality control, backup media management, shipping and inventory, plus serving as the technical lead and escalation point for complex problems and new project analysis.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/French preferred.
• Reliable transportation required for onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, removal and support.
• Perform third-party supplier quality control.
• Support backup media management.
• Perform shipping, receiving and moving of equipment.
• Perform inventory management.
• Act as the technical lead for the team.
• Serve as point of contact for technical escalation.
• Take charge of complex problems.
• Analyze scope for new projects and provide recommendations/guidance.
