Job summary

Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated is seeking a frontline service technician responsible for maintenance on ATMs, retail POS devices, and related hardware. You will perform basic preventive maintenance and installations, while following safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, meticulous data logging, and the ability to travel to the United States for training. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with 0–2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years of technical service experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong prioritization and follow-up skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to be exposed to weather conditions.
• Able to work varying shifts, including evenings/weekends.
• Fluent in French.
• Able to travel to the United States for training.

Responsibilities

• Addresses issues and provides maintenance services according to schedules and company specs.
• Assists with basic level services on assigned products (cleaning, lock replacement, etc.).
• Maintains bolt work and time locks on safes and vaults.
• Maintains ATM Cencon locks and mechanical/electrical locks.
• Provides key duplication and lock core replacement.
• Maintains after-hours depositories and related units.
• Prioritizes service calls per SLAs and management direction.
• Reports discrepancies and escalates to proper support.
• Contacts customers to set appointments and update progress.
• Maintains safety awareness and a positive attitude.
