Job summary

Centurion Asset Management Inc. in Kelowna is seeking a dedicated Resident Manager to oversee operations, leasing, and administration for a Centurion apartment community.

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will build relationships with Residents and co-workers, handle inquiries, coordinate maintenance, rent collection, and ensure vacancies are rent-ready while maintaining site cleanliness. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in customer service and/or property management.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense.
• Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster positive relationships with co-workers and Residents, ensuring proactive timely resolution of concerns.
• Market, show and rent apartments, collecting applications and deposits as required.
• Ensure timely collection and deposit of rental payments; follow up where payments are not made.
• Administer and complete minor maintenance and Work Order repairs; prepare scope of work for renovations.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready, clean and prepared for move-in; keep common areas clean and well maintained.
• Be accessible 24/7 for emergencies and report building concerns to the Property Manager.
