Job summary

Vendasta Technologies, Inc. in Saskatoon is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, helping them succeed with the Vendasta platform.

You’ll be the technical bridge between customers and our product team, spending time on-site and turning what you learn into input for the product roadmap. The role requires 5–8 years in software engineering or related fields, a BS in a technical discipline, and proven on-site or embedded customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or forward deployed engineering.
• Advanced full-stack development and strong system design capabilities.
• Proven ability to reason through problems live with customers without a playbook.

Responsibilities

• Work embedded with a customer's engineering team to implement and derive value from the Vendasta platform.
• Identify gaps and opportunities through hands-on discovery.
• Translate on-site findings into actionable input for R&D's roadmap and sprint planning.
• Travel to customer sites regularly to maintain real, working relationships.
