Job summary

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre seeks a part-time Online Learning Facilitator in Saskatoon to support students in an online environment and serve as the primary contact for learners. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills and experience with educational technology.

Responsibilities include managing student records, coordinating resources, and supervising exams, with hours approximately 6.5 per day and alignment to the CUP E5544 collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through the successful completion of an Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma in combination with work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Advanced computer skills and experience using a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports students to obtain a quality online educational experience.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for learners in an online environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation, and monitor progress and pace.
