Consultant Onboarding Specialist - Hybrid out of Insight Global's Toronto Office

About This Role: The Insight Global Consultant Onboarding Department is seeking an Onboarding Specialist who is passionate about providing a seamless onboarding experience for our Consultants while mitigating risk to the company by ensuring that all Consultants we hire meet Insight Global’s and our Client's onboarding criteria prior to beginning their assignment.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Inform newly hired Consultants of their onboarding activities via email & telephone.
  2. Initiate and complete onboarding activities through multiple systems including, but not limited to, ComTrak, ATLIS, Onboarding365, E-Verify, NAVEX, etc.
  3. Review results and/or completion of onboarding activities to ensure compliance with IG and Client standards.
  4. Liaise with screening vendors and proactively work to adjudicate applicable searches in a timely fashion.
  5. Advise Consultants on the status of onboarding activities and when items are needed to complete onboarding.
  6. Manage a high-volume workload with urgency and efficiency.
  7. Build relationships with Consultant Onboarding Leadership, Compliance, Contracts, Legal, National Accounts, AMs, and RECs to ensure onboarding is correct and efficient.
  8. Respond promptly to inquiries from Consultants and internal customers, escalating when needed.
  9. Implement and adopt new processes to enhance the Consultant experience and Department performance.
  10. Maintain knowledge of onboarding activities and requirements to ensure policies related to background checks, drug screens, work authorizations, client-specific documents, trainings, payroll documents, etc., are met.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • 1+ year of Onboarding and/or Compliance experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, production-driven role with proven customer service abilities.
  • Courage to act with urgency and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong Excel, data entry, research, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Staffing industry experience is a plus.
