Job summary

Arrow Workforce Solutions is seeking an Onsite Supervisor (Entry Level) for Etobicoke/Mississauga/Brampton. You will represent Arrow and supervise a distribution-center-like environment, building client relations, enforcing safety, and screening/onboarding staff.

Strong leadership and communication are essential to meet deadlines and keep operations running smoothly. The role requires supervisory experience, a fast-paced mindset, and proficiency in Excel; recruitment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience; leadership in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with distribution centers is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; Word skills are beneficial.
• Recruitment and staffing experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with client/management for high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety and health protocols are in place and updated.
• Screen, recruit and onboard new team members for roles.
• Understand distribution center components to ensure quality.
• Track metrics such as attendance, productivity, attrition and payroll.
• Maintain daily relationships with staff/associates and be approachable.
• Understand training and SOPs for job roles.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate issues between staff and client.
• Stay updated with recruitment industry changes and prepare for peaks.
• Develop plans to manage staffing, safety and productivity during changes.

Job Title: Onsite Supervisor (Entry Level)

Job Location: Etobicoke/Mississauga/Brampton

Shit: AM/PM (Must have flexible availability)

Pay: $47k-52k annually (Open to discuss)

We are looking for a motivated On-Site Supervisor/Manager. A representative of Arrow Workforce, a conduit between us and the client, you will be responsible for building relationships, maintaining a safe & efficient workplace and ensuring customer/client satisfaction. Detailed below are some of the responsibilities we at Arrow expect as we look to fill this role.

• Build and maintain relationships with key client/management figures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.


• Understand client’s vision, business strategy and policies.


• Make sure all safety and health protocols are in place, followed and updated.


• Screen, recruit and onboard new team members to their specified role.


• Understand the different components/areas of distribution center to ensure quality.


• Tracking and maintaining metrics such as attendance, productivity, attrition and payroll.


• Maintain relationship with staff/associates on a daily basis. Be approachable to their needs.


• Understand training & SOPs of certain job roles.


• Conflict resolution and de-escalating issues between team members and client.


• Keeping up-to-date with industry changes in terms of recruitment; preparing for market peak.


• Develop plans and strategies to efficiently manage sudden changes in staffing, safety and productivity.

Experience/Requirements:

• Must have supervisory experience.


• Must have strong leadership skills, be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; especially Excel.


• Experience working at a distribution center.


• Able to work independently with little supervision.


• Experience with following strict deadlines.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
