Job summary

Jump! recruiters is seeking a hands-on Property Manager for a mixed-use property in Pointe-Claire. Reporting to the Director of Property Management, you will lead on-site operations including maintenance, security, housekeeping, and vendors while ensuring a hospitality-driven tenant experience.

Your role emphasizes preventive maintenance, budget monitoring, leasing support, tenant move-ins/outs, and performance reporting with strong bilingual communication in French and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial property management.
• Knowledge of Quebec real estate regulations and TAL.
• HVAC and fire protection systems knowledge, preventive and corrective maintenance management.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, operating budgets, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with property management software, including Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property (maintenance, security, housekeeping, and contractors) while leading the on-site team.
• Deliver a high-quality tenant experience focused on hospitality and transparent communication.
• Monitor property KPIs (response times, resolution times, tenant satisfaction) and implement corrective actions.
• Create, prioritize, and follow up on work orders through to completion.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
• Oversee the performance of vendors and contractors and elevate concerns as required.
• Implement the preventive maintenance program and manage inventory of essential parts and supplies.
• Monitor operating expenses and budgets and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Maintain lease files, records, and documentation in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Support residential and commercial leasing activities, including tours, negotiations, and lease execution.
• Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs to ensure a smooth transition.
• Proactively anticipate operational, maintenance, and service issues and resolve them independently.
