Job summary

Viacore Solutions in Ontario is seeking a qualified maintenance technician for on-site work. You will read blueprints and specifications to determine tasks, diagnose irregularities, repair or replace defective components, fabricate parts as needed, and perform routine machinery maintenance.

Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing
• On-site, no remote work
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications

Responsibilities

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
