Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of practical mechanical/electrical experience in a supervisory role.
Post-secondary education or trade certificates in mechanical/electrical fields are preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain tenant communication regarding landlord-owned mechanical/electrical systems.
Schedule all system maintenance services (annual, semi-annual, quarterly).
Implement and maintain predictive and preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, BMS and life-safety systems.
Provide mechanical/electrical information for tenant coordination and leasing as requested.
Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives for the properties.
Monitor trades and assist contractors with their contracted duties with the Operations Manager.
Supervise, motivate and lead on-site mechanical staff.
Monitor mechanical budgets and keep spending at approved levels.
Maintain purchase order system.
Represent the operating department in mechanical commissioning of project buildings.
Review tenant drawings related to responsibilities for Guildford Town Centre.
