Clark Wilson LLP in British Columbia is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Legal Support Services team. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position—ideal for individuals who are eager for growth, committed to excellence, and looking to build your career in a collaborative environment.

You will support the team by managing court dates, filings, and document preparation, while maintaining calendars and client communications.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited legal assistant program or relevant experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant.
Strong technical skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, BC Online and MYLTSA.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set court dates and communicate with registries.
Arrange court filings and applications.
Prepare and draft various correspondence and documents, including court pleadings.
Draft, prepare, edit and format legal documents and correspondence.
Prepare transaction books as required.
Maintain efficient file management and bring-forward system.
Maintain full calendar, email management and lawyers' practice.
Liaise with colleagues and clients on file progress; perform general admin duties.
