Job summary

Dawat Restaurant Ltd. dba Palki Restaurant in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a kitchen helper to support the busy kitchen team. No experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. This is a full-time, on-site role with morning, day, evening and weekend shifts.

You will clear and clean tables and chairs, operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, package take-out, and help with food prep and kitchen cleaning to maintain a safe, orderly workspace.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma.
• No experience (will train).

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Scour pots and pans.
• Package take-out food.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
