Job summary

Davies Group in Mississauga is seeking a Claims Triage Specialist to join our team. You will handle front-line customer service, triage new losses, and coordinate with claim units to create new claims reports received via email, fax, and phone.

This in-office role requires availability from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday. Strong communication, organization, and insurance exposure are assets; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service role.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Field and enter new claims reports via email, telephone, or fax.
• Triage new claim notices and report to applicable layers per instruction.
• Identify loss type and coordinate response across lines of business.
• Manage and distribute incoming email from zonal boxes.
• Determine immediate needs of incoming losses and prioritize accordingly.
• Provide training/mentoring and technical support to staff and partners.
