Job summary

Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This independent contractor/part-time role requires responsiveness and reliability, with assignments provided as needed in Charlottetown, PE.

Start date is immediate. You will work within the service delivery team coordinating on-demand field support, ensuring client IT policies are followed and issues are resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in on-site Windows desktop support.
• Ability to troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Familiarity with LAN connectivity and basic networking concepts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at client locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, OS, and enterprise software.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacements, and hardware installs.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access as needed.
• Document service activities and update the service delivery team.
