Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Kirkland, Quebec. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals, and ensure timely, accurate service delivery.

This contract-based role requires independent work, with no guaranteed hours. You will install and configure hardware, software, and network connectivity, document activities, and adhere to client security policies

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN, switches, routers).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client site.

This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as needed. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
