Job summary

BUILD IT Calgary is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring budgets are controlled, safety standards are met, and project controls are executed efficiently.

You will manage resources, coordinate teams, and maintain strong client communication while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery across commercial interior fit-outs in Calgary and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of supervisory experience in project control for commercial construction.
• Post-secondary education in Project Management or Construction Management; PMP/BCIN assets.
• Strong knowledge of construction financials, cost management, and safety regulations.
• Experience using Procore and MS Project; able to lead diverse teams.
• Familiar with local codes, permitting, and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects to meet scope, schedule, and client specifications.
• Monitor budgets with accurate cost reporting and accountability.
• Lead subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams; conduct team meetings.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance on site.
• Maintain client communications and document project data in Procore.
• Identify risks early and coordinate permits/approvals.
