Job summary

A local construction company is seeking a General Carpenter to support residential and infrastructure projects in Klemtu, BC. Responsibilities include performing carpentry tasks, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety standards. The ideal candidate is a registered apprentice or has 2–4 years of experience, and must work effectively under supervision. Qualifications

• Registered carpenter apprentice or minimum 2–4 years of carpentry experience with intent for Red Seal certification.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in remote coastal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks under direction of a Journeyperson.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and instructions.
• Safely use hand and power tools according to safety guidelines.
