Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an on-call Delivery Agent or Postal Clerk in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The role involves delivering mail and parcels, sorting deliveries, and working various shifts on a temporary, on-call basis. Suitable for individuals who can work outdoors in all weather and are available evenings or weekends.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence, be able to lift heavy items, and be fluent in English and/or French. Training and potential for permanent opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence (Class 5 or G) with a safe driving record for 3+ years
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) and carry up to 35 lb (15.9 kg) regularly
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• On-call availability, possibly evenings and weekends
• Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
• Customer service experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Start the day at the depot sorting and preparing deliveries
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages on your route by foot or vehicle
• Return to the depot to unload and organize incoming mail
