Vancouver Public Library seeks an experienced librarian to join the Children’s and Teen Services team, delivering library services and programming to diverse communities. You will work on-site at multiple locations and support service priorities established by the Branch Head and management.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Branch Head or Assistant Manager, the incumbent provides service to the public, meeting established Library strategic objectives and service standards. Demonstrates and models conduct that adheres to the library’s policies and procedures in accordance with the Library’s vision, mission and values. The incumbent is a professional member of the Children’s and Teen Services team who works collaboratively within the teams and system-wide to ensure service priorities are met.

Salary: $41.30 to $48.54 per hour
Please know that library work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. We are a 7- day a week operation at most of our locations in order to serve our community. Applicants must be prepared to work at any location in the VPL system.
