Job summary

Suncor is seeking a driven Offsites SCM Advisor to support offsite repair and return activities for mining equipment across multiple sites. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Planning, Warehousing, Logistics and external suppliers to optimize procurement, inventory and service delivery.

Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP procurement processes and supplier coordination is required to minimize downtime and achieve supply chain targets.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in procurement, supply chain management, inventory management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, logistics, and material planning.
• Experience in industrial/mining/oil sands/heavy equipment environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with Fieldglass, myTrack, and Ariba Network.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA, Fieldglass, myTrack, and Ariba Network to create and manage purchase orders.
• Review SOWs for service orders related to offsite repairs, ensuring quality and scope compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock status to support maintenance and repair schedules.
• Coordinate offsite logistics for repair, refurbishment, or fabrication, including third-party GR and return to service.
• Manage reverse logistics and expedite material movement between warehouses, vendors and repair facilities.
• Collaborate with Planning, Scheduling, Warehousing, Maintenance Coordinators, and Operations teams.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure service delivery.
