Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Coil Tubing Supervisor/Lead Operator for offshore operations in Newfoundland, Canada (Hibernia Asset). This permanent role requires leadership of crews, a strong safety focus, and the ability to coordinate well intervention activities.

The successful candidate will oversee equipment preparation, rig-up and rig-down, mentoring of field personnel, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements while delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support coil tubing operations offshore.

We are currently seeking experienced Coil Tubing professionals for upcoming offshore operations in Newfoundland, Canada. This opportunity is ideal for senior Coil Tubing Operators, Lead Operators, and Supervisors who have strong offshore experience and a proven ability to lead crews in a safe and efficient operating environment. The successful candidate will support offshore well intervention activities while ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and crew leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Coil Tubing operations in offshore environments.
• Supervise and mentor field personnel during operational activities.
• Coordinate daily operational tasks and ensure safe execution of work.
• Participate in pre-job planning, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all company and client HSE requirements.
• Oversee equipment preparation, rig-up, rig-down, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical guidance to the crew.
• Complete operational reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain effective communication with offshore and onshore stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Previous Coil Tubing experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Offshore operational experience.
• Leadership, crew lead, or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of well intervention operations.
• Ability to work rotational offshore schedules.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Preferred Experience

• Previous Coil Tubing Supervisor experience.
• Experience working offshore in Eastern Canada.
• Hibernia experience.
• Walk-on-ready offshore certifications.
• Extensive experience leading field crews and coordinating offshore operations.
