Schlumberger Canada Limited is seeking an Offshore Wireline or Coil Tubing Operator based in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

The role delivers safe, efficient services to customers and helps prepare equipment for operations, with opportunities to support field and maintenance crews. The successful candidate will have wireline and coil tubing experience, a high school diploma, and must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Competenze

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Local candidates preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience as a skilled operator or helper in open hole and cased hole wireline.
• Wireline experience required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a coil tubing operator or helper.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada without visa sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
• Ensure individual and crew work safety.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
• Complete necessary documentation, reports, and logs accurately and timely.
