Job summary

Schlumberger Canada Limited is seeking an Offshore Wireline/Coil Tubing Operator to deliver safe, efficient services and prep equipment for operations in Newfoundland. The role requires cold-weather readiness, strong safety practices, and the ability to work onshore when not offshore.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of wireline experience (open and/or cased hole) and coil tubing experience, with legal eligibility to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years' wireline experience.
• Experience in open hole and cased hole wireline.
• Coil tubing experience required.
• Canadian work authorization without visa sponsorship.
• Willing to obtain governmental security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
• Ensure individual and crew work safety.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
• Complete necessary documentation, reports, and logs accurately and timely.
