Job summary

Puglisevich on behalf of Odfjell Drilling seeks a Crane Operator for offshore Newfoundland, Canada. You will supervise crane operations, load/unload drilling equipment, and participate in first-line crane maintenance. Expect to train crew and uphold safety standards on a DP3 ultra-deepwater rig.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 3 years crane operation experience on similar rigs, and Stage 3 certification. English proficiency and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 3 years' experience as Crane Operator on a 6th Gen Ultra-Deepwater semi-submersible.
• Stage 3 Crane Certificate or equivalent.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading operations of supply vessels and lifting gear.
• Maintain and inspect cranes and lifting equipment; ensure compliance with lifting procedures.
• Train deck crew and certify required operational time for the Assistant Crane Operator.
• Ensure safety by participating in meetings and reporting non-compliances.
• Keep the pipe deck and paint store organized; manage straps and shackles inventory.
