Job description

Our client, a leading electronic access control solutions provider, is currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team immediately on fulltime 1-year contract working out of their office in North York, Ontario. You will become a valuable member of the team overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. The candidate is responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all office operations, including scheduling, office supply inventory management, and maintaining office equipment – Be the point of contact for property management
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations
  • Liaise with HR to coordinate interviews and new employee onboardings at our headquarters
  • Manage office budgets and expenses
  • Organize and plan company events and meetings, along with booking and coordinating travel arrangements for staff
  • Maintain and update office policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to the executive team including management of expense reports and taking meeting minutes
  • Pick up and delivery of goods and services (requires a driver’s license and own vehicle) to various vendors and suppliers
  • Handle confidential information and documents professionally
  • International Travel may be required to support our global office locations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in office management, Executive Assistant experience will be considered an asset
  • Attitude of constant improvement and learning
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and expenses
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong in Microsoft Office and other office management software
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and owns your own vehicle
  • Willing and able to travel internationally
