Our client, a leading electronic access control solutions provider, is currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team immediately on fulltime 1-year contract working out of their office in North York, Ontario. You will become a valuable member of the team overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. The candidate is responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all office operations, including scheduling, office supply inventory management, and maintaining office equipment – Be the point of contact for property management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations
- Liaise with HR to coordinate interviews and new employee onboardings at our headquarters
- Manage office budgets and expenses
- Organize and plan company events and meetings, along with booking and coordinating travel arrangements for staff
- Maintain and update office policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide support to the executive team including management of expense reports and taking meeting minutes
- Pick up and delivery of goods and services (requires a driver’s license and own vehicle) to various vendors and suppliers
- Handle confidential information and documents professionally
- International Travel may be required to support our global office locations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in office management, Executive Assistant experience will be considered an asset
- Attitude of constant improvement and learning
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage budgets and expenses
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong in Microsoft Office and other office management software
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and owns your own vehicle
- Willing and able to travel internationally
