Job summary

As Office Manager, you are an essential part of the team at Merchant - managing day-to-day operations, coordinating pre-production events, wardrobe fittings, and meetings; answering inbound phone calls, reviewing financial statements, and maintaining a positive work environment.

We’re looking for your personality, leadership, organizational skills, and your attention to detail.

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for :

  • Managing and submitting essential forms and legal documentation (LMIA work permits, tax waivers, Stats Can reviews, etc.)
  • Shipping and receiving, distributing mail
  • Inventory and stock management
  • Event planning and meeting support
  • Reviewing financial statements and allocating funds
  • Coordinating building maintenance (repairs, cleaners, deep cleans)
  • Managing office accounts and subscription billing (Hydro, Gas, Rogers, Extreme Reach, etc.)
  • Providing technical support (laser and inkjet printers, conference call setup, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Calendar management for multiple teams and organizations in a shared office space
  • Key holding

Requirements :

  • Basic accounting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
  • Experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Assistant
  • Valid G license (great but not mandatory)
  • In-office position - Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
