Job description

This position requires a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to 2 years of experience. The work must be performed on-site in an urban area within the private sector, specifically in manufacturing and industrial settings.

Responsibilities
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Handle telephone or electronic inquiries.
  • Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases.
  • Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically.
  • Send and receive messages.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Compile data, statistics, and information.
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Perform data entry and file materials in storage.
  • Label files according to retention schedules, retrieve documents, and update financial data.
  • Schedule transportation conveyances and prepare shipping documents.
  • Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
  • Process files and paperwork.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., ACCPAC), database software (MS Access), MS Outlook, MS Windows, and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with scanners and familiarity with forms, records, shipping, and receiving.
