Job Description

Our Oakville client is growing and has an immediate opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to join their team for a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension! This is a completely remote position. This position will work as part of the payroll team for Canada ensuring full cycle payroll for the client’s Canadian business on a semi-monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle Canadian payroll processing
• Effectively respond to payroll related queries from employees
• Work with the HR team to ensure the employee database is up to date
• Assist in processing invoices from suppliers, ensuring timely payments
• Other tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager
• Additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1+ year of payroll experience in a mid to high-volume setting
• Hands-on experience with Workday or SAP is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required for success in this position
