A leading company in laboratory services is looking for an Office Administrator in Ottawa. This role involves supporting laboratory logistics, greeting clients, processing payments, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has strong communication skills. Full-time contract with 37.5 hours per week, ideal for candidates with administrative or customer service experience.
Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager this position is responsible for ensuring smooth front-office operations supporting laboratory logistics and providing excellent service to clients. The ideal candidate will be organized proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced scientific environment.
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Accept and process client payments (cash / card / cheque)
Assist with receiving and login samples
Prepare and assemble bottle orders for clients based on testing requirements
Organize and schedule payment collections with clients by phone email
