Job description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Office Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our office, providing administrative support to our team, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
  • Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post‑secondary educational institutions
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • May supervise records management technicians and related staff.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
