The Vancouver School Board is looking for Office Administration On-call staff to support various departments including HR, Payroll, and Accounting. This position offers $33.98 per hour plus 20% in lieu of benefits and statutory holidays and requires strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 and have relevant experience. Upon hiring, employees can apply for temporary contracts or permanent positions through the internal job board.

Most of our office administration positions are school-based; however, depending on your skill‑set and interests there are opportunities to build your career in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and various other departments.
This position is On-Call, but is busy throughout the year with an exception during school breaks (e.g., July, August, Spring/Christmas Break).
Once hired, employees can remain On-Call or apply to temporary contracts and continuing/permanent positions via the VSB internal job board.
The salary for this position is $33.98/hour (7 hours/day) plus 20% in lieu of all benefits and stat holidays (14% if contributing to an existing municipal pension plan).
This position is 100% in-person/in-office at various VSB sites.
