Interior Health Authority is looking for an Occupational Therapist at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, BC. This role requires providing assessment, treatment planning, and education to patients and caregivers in a rural setting. Joining us at Arrow Lakes Hospital, you’ll have a crucial role in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers.
Shift Days/Times: Tuesday-Friday 08:30 to 16:30

This is a rural occupational therapy position covering multiple sites (long‑term, acute and home health) in towns of New Denver, Naksup, Kaslo and surrounding area. Travel is required within this role and access to personal vehicle will be required. With a client‑centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. You will provide work direction to the Rehabilitation Assistants working with the rehabilitation team regarding transfer of function.
