Job summary

CBI Health in Victoria is seeking a Full-Time Community Occupational Therapist to support clients in the community, including rural sites. You will provide OT services to individuals with mental health, physical, or brain injuries, working at clients' homes, workplaces, or virtually, to promote return to work and daily functioning.

New graduates are welcome. You will be supported by a leadership team, mentoring, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC.
• Experience in private sector and community settings.
• Willingness to travel to rural sites.

• Form relationships built with trust, seeking to understand factors relating to access to, initiation of, and sustained occupational participation.
• Collaborate with clients, employers, funders, and health care team members in designing and delivering tailored occupational therapy services to promote return to work, reintroduction of everyday occupations, and well-being.
• Connect with team members and team leaders to innovate and improve the quality of the healthcare services we provide.

Full-Time Community Occupational Therapist - Victoria - Langford, Westshore (Sooke, View Royal etc)

We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our team in delivering collaborative, relationship-based occupational therapy services in the community. As a self-starter with integrity and accountability, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to develop a holistic occupational therapy practice with mentorship and support from our leadership team. Here’s What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy
• You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC
• Have experience in the private sector and working within the community
• Experience with Mental Health diagnoses, brain and spinal cord injuries
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with a willingness to travel to rural site(s)
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
