CBI Health in Port Coquitlam, BC, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team. The role offers a flexible schedule in full-time, part-time, or independent contractor capacity, with tools and support to help clients return to work and improve quality of life.

You'll collaborate across care teams, perform assessments and treatments for clients with varied needs, including WSBC, ICBC, and disability services, and contribute to program development and patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC.
• Passion for the profession and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent client outcomes.
• Provide assessment and treatment to a wide variety of clients with varying needs.
• Provide home, job, and safety assessments, ergonomic assessments, and client education.
• Coordinate the return to work process with all stakeholders in a timely way.
• Develop new programs with the team to meet identified client needs.
• Network with internal and external stakeholders to promote programs.
• Record workload measurement data and perform regular charting and reporting.
• Attend staff meetings and case conferences as required.
• Provide professional services to other CBI facilities or departments as required.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent client outcomes
• Provide assessment and treatment to a wide variety of clients with varying needs, including those with chronic and/or mental health conditions and with those under WSBC, ICBC, Disability service streams
• Provide impartial home, job, and safety/attendant care assessments, functional ability evaluations, insurer examinations, ergonomic assessments, client education, and job coaching, as required
• Coordinate the return to work process with all stakeholders in a timely way, ensuring a smooth transition into the workplace
• Work closely with the team and other resources to develop new programs to meet identified client needs
• Network with internal and external stakeholders to promote new and existing programs
• Perform regular, timely charting, reporting and communication
• Record workload measurement data
• Attend staff meetings and case conference meetings, as required
• Provide professional services to other CBI facilities or departments, as required

Here's What You'll Need To Be Successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy
• You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
• New Graduates are welcome to apply
• Pay Range: $42-$55 per hour
